Product Description
Shell for hand drums such as bodhran, shaman drum or other hand drum, built in maple. The shell is handmade and supplied as a raw, untreated shell, sold singly.
The shell is 8mm thick and has a depth of 2.5" (approx. 63mm). The maple is untreated and not laminated, which means each shell is built from solid wood without layers glued together. Diameter is available in 12", 14", 16", 18", 20" and 22".
Since the shell is supplied raw and unfinished, you will need to carry out edge fixing as well as final sanding and planing yourself before it is ready to be built up into a finished drum.
