Gretsch USA Custom 13"x6" - Satin Natural, lacquered

Product Description

The USA Custom is Gretsch's American-made snare drum in 13x6", built with a maple and gum wood shell and die-cast hoops for a powerful, focused attack. With 20-strand snare wires and a Lightning throw-off, it delivers quick response and reliable tuning stability, job after job.

Construction and sound

The shell is built from 6 plies of maple and gum wood, with 30° bearing edges that give the drum a focused yet full-bodied tone. The shell interior is treated with Silver Sealer, protecting the wood and supporting stable resonance. The die-cast hoops give a tight, controlled attack and help the drum hold its tuning over time.

Hardware and details

The snare wires are 20-strand, controlled by a Lightning throw-off for fast, precise engagement. A snap-in key holder is mounted on the shell, keeping the drum key within easy reach. The drum ships fitted with Remo drum heads, ready to play right out of the box.

Finish

Finished in Satin Natural, lacquered, showing off the natural grain of the maple and gum wood shell.

Who it's for

A workhorse snare for players who want genuine American craftsmanship: strong attack, stable tuning, and a warm, classic tone that works equally well in the studio and on stage.
