Gretsch shell set Renown Maple, Vintage Pearl

Product Description

Renown Maple is Gretsch's mid-tier series, built with a 7-ply maple shell, a 30° bearing edge and Gretsch's own "302" steel hoops. This shell pack comes in the Vintage Pearl finish and includes a mounted tom, a floor tom and a bass drum, all fitted with Remo heads. A solid choice if you want a ready-to-play set with well thought-out hardware, without buying cymbals separately.

Construction

The maple shell is built from 7 plies with a 30° bearing edge, a classic Gretsch profile that gives the drums an open, resonant character. The inside of the shell is treated with Gretsch's own "Silver Sealer" to protect the wood. The hoops are Gretsch's "302" steel model, a sturdy design that holds tuning well.

Hardware and mounting

The mounted tom uses Gretsch's "Low Profile" system, which reduces contact with the shell and lets it resonate more freely. The bass drum has round Gretsch tom brackets. All hardware is chrome-plated, and a single tom holder is included.

Sizes in the set

The set consists of three drums: a 13x9" mounted tom, a 16x16" floor tom and a 24x14" bass drum.
