Construction and Tone

The 7-ply maple shell with a 30° bearing edge gives the Renown Maple its signature warm, open tone with plenty of resonance. The Silver Sealer inner coating protects the shell and helps deliver a clear, controlled sound. The Low Profile mounting system keeps the tom bracket away from the shell's vibrating surface, letting the toms ring freely.
