• Low Profile tom mounting system
• Round Gretsch tom brackets on the bass drum
• Chrome hardware

Construction and Tone

The 7-ply maple shell gives Renown Maple a warm, focused fundamental tone typical of maple. The 30° bearing edge supports a clear attack while preserving shell resonance. The inside of each shell is treated with Gretsch's Silver Sealer coating, which protects the shell and keeps the tone consistent over time.

Hardware and Mounting

Hoops are Gretsch's own 302 steel hoops, and all hardware is chrome-plated. Toms are mounted using the Low Profile system, which reduces contact with the shell for freer resonance, while the bass drum uses Gretsch's round tom brackets. A single tom holder is included.

What's Included

The set ships with Remo heads fitted and a single tom holder included. Cymbals and snare drum are not included and are purchased separately.
