Construction

The 7-ply maple shell gives the Renown Maple its warm, full tone, with clear low end and strong projection. The 30° bearing edge contributes to an open, resonant response, and the Gretsch Silver Sealer inner coating helps preserve the shell's tone over time. The Gretsch 302 steel hoop keeps tuning stable and adds a clear attack.

Build and hardware

The rack tom uses Gretsch's Low Profile mounting system, reducing contact with the shell for improved resonance. The bass drum uses round Gretsch tom brackets. All hardware is chrome-plated, and a single tom holder is included. The set ships with Remo heads.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a drum sound with classic warmth and clear character, for studio or stage. Cymbals are not included.
