Construction and sound

The 7-ply mahogany shell gives the Catalina Club its characteristic warm tone with a solid low end. The 30° bearing edge combined with the 1.6 mm steel hoop helps deliver a focused attack without losing body. The heads are Gretsch's own models, made by Remo, giving you a reliable, well-tuned starting point before dialing in your own tuning.

What's included

The pack includes four drums: a 12"x8" tom, a 16"x16" floor tom, a 22"x14" bass drum and a 14"x6.5" snare drum. A single tom holder for the mounted tom is included. Cymbals and stands are not included, so you can choose your own hardware and cymbals to complete the kit.

Who it's for

A solid choice if you want to build your own drum set from the ground up, or upgrade from an entry-level kit to a shell with more character and chrome hardware throughout.
