Product Description
The Catalina Club Sahara Sparkle is a shell pack from Gretsch built on a 7-ply mahogany shell with chrome hardware and a 30° bearing edge. The mahogany construction gives a warm, full tone with good punch and projection. A solid choice if you want to build a complete kit from the ground up and pick your own cymbals and stands.
Construction
The shell is built from 7-ply mahogany with a 30° bearing edge, giving a warm, full tone with good resonance. The hoop is 1.6 mm steel, and the hardware is chrome throughout.
Heads and tom holder
The kit ships with Gretsch heads made by Remo. A single tom holder is included for mounting the rack tom.
Sizes
The set includes a 12"x8" tom, 14"x14" floor tom, 20"x14" bass drum, and 14"x5.5" snare drum. Model designation CT1-J404.
What's not included
The kit ships without cymbals and without stands. You choose and add these yourself.
