• 7-ply poplar shell with 30° bearing edge
• 1.6 mm steel hoops
• Chrome hardware
• 5-piece hardware package included
• Gretsch drumheads, made by Remo

Construction

The shells are built from 7 plies of poplar, a wood known for a warm, rounded tonal character. The bearing edge is cut at 30°, a classic profile that gives the head solid contact against the shell's edge. Hoops are 1.6 mm steel, and all visible hardware, including lugs and claw hooks, is chrome plated.

What's Included

The kit comes with a 5-piece hardware package for setting up the drums, along with Gretsch's own drumheads, made by Remo. Cymbals and a drum stool are not included and are chosen separately to suit your setup.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you want to build a kit from the ground up with your own choice of cymbals and seating, or if you already own cymbal stands and a throne and just need a complete shell pack with hardware.
