A solid choice if you want to build your own set around a well-built shell package and add your own stands and cymbals.
- 7-ply poplar shell with 30° bearing edge
- 1.6 mm steel hoops
- Chrome hardware
- Gretsch drumheads made by Remo
- Includes a 5-piece hardware package for toms and floor tom legs
Construction
The shells are built from 7 plies of poplar with a 30° bearing edge, giving a stable foundation to build on. The hoops are 1.6 mm steel, and all visible hardware is chrome-plated. The drumheads are made by Remo to Gretsch's own specification. The rack toms mount via Gretsch's GTS suspension system.
What's Included
The shell pack ships with seven drums: three rack toms (8x7", 10x7" and 12x8"), two floor toms (14x14" and 16x16"), a bass drum (22x18") and a snare drum (14x6.5"). A 5-piece hardware package for mounting the toms and floor tom legs is included. Cymbals, cymbal stands, a hi-hat stand and a drum throne are not included, and the pack ships without any other standalone hardware. You'll need to add your own stands.
