Product Description

The Gretsch Energy is a complete drum set in red, built so you can unbox, set up and start playing right away. Shells are 7-ply poplar with Gretsch's signature 30° bearing edge, and with hardware, cymbals and a throne included, there's nothing else you need to buy to get playing.

• 7-ply poplar shells with 30° bearing edge
• 1.6 mm steel hoops
• Wood hoop on the bass drum
• Chrome hardware with vintage styling
• 5-lug toms
• Gretsch heads made by Remo
• Complete with 5-part hardware set, drum throne and Paiste 101 cymbal set

What's Included

The kit comes with a 5-part hardware set and a drum throne, so you're ready to build up the kit and sit down and play. Cymbals are a 3-piece Paiste 101 set: 13" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride. Heads are Gretsch's own, made by Remo.

Construction

The shells are 7-ply poplar, giving a full and balanced foundation tone. The 30° bearing edge is a Gretsch signature feature and contributes to the sound. Hoops are 1.6 mm steel, except on the bass drum which has a wood hoop. A detail usually reserved for far more expensive kits. Hardware is chrome-plated with vintage styling, and the toms use 5-lug construction.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you're buying your first drum set and want everything in one delivery. Drums, hardware, cymbals and throne. With nothing extra to source before you can start playing.
