Gretsch Renown Maple 18"x14" - Champagne Sparkle
Renown Maple bass drum, 18x14", in Champagne Sparkle. 7-ply maple shell with warm, full low end.
Product Description
The Gretsch Renown Maple is a stand-alone bass drum in an 18x14" size with a 7-ply maple shell, built for drummers who want a full, resonant foundation for their kit. Chrome hardware and Remo heads round out the construction, and the Champagne Sparkle finish gives it a classic, upscale look.
Construction
The shell is built from 7 plies of maple with a 30° bearing edge, giving the drum an open, resonant sound with a clear fundamental. The inside of the shell has Gretsch's Silver Sealer coating, an inner shell treatment characteristic of Gretsch drums that contributes to the shell's tonal character. The drum is drilled with Gretsch's round Bass Drum Rosette, a signature feature of the brand.
Hardware and Heads
The hardware is chrome-plated and the heads are made by Remo, a combination that offers reliable performance and familiar feel for most drummers.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want to build out or complement a kit with a maple bass drum that has a warm, full, musical low end, finished in an eye-catching Champagne Sparkle.
