Dixon Gregg Bissonette Signature 6.5"x14" - Black Nickel

Product Description

The Gregg Bissonette Signature 14x6.5" is a hammered brass snare drum, built in collaboration with drum legend Gregg Bissonette. The hammered brass shell delivers a powerful attack and a warm, full tone with clear projection, and the drum ships complete with a drummer's pouch and a drum key.

Construction and Tone

The shell is a 1mm hammered beaded brass shell, plated in Black Nickel for a distinctive look. The hoops are 2.3mm triple flanged hoops in a chrome finish, providing solid tuning stability and a secure grip when tuning. The brass shell contributes a warm tone with a clear attack, typical of hammered brass snares.

Heads and Snare Mechanism

The batter side head is a Remo Controlled Sound Coated, while the resonant side head is a Remo Clear Ambassador. A combination that gives control on the attack and open resonance underneath. The snare throw-off is Dixon's exclusive slide-lever style, paired with an adjustable butt end on the opposite side.

Included in Delivery

The drum ships with a Drummer's Pouch and a Brite Key. Both included free of charge.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a signature model with real character in the tone. A snare drum with a warm, full sound and solid attack, for players who already know brass is their thing.
