Gospel Fusion MIDI

Product Description

Gospel Fusion MIDI is a MIDI pack from Toontrack with drum grooves and fills that fuse fusion and gospel drumming, performed by drummer Luke Oswald. It's built for songs that need elaborate, groove-heavy drumming beyond genre labels.

This is the fifth stop on Luke Oswald's tour-de-force journey through fusion, and this time he's landed at the way station where fusion meets gospel. The result is a backbeat-driven collection of grooves and fills that seamlessly fuses the distinctive traits of both genres. "As a drummer, both gospel and fusion have had a big impact on my own style of playing. With this collection, I wanted to pay tribute to gospel drumming on a whole while maintaining all the aesthetics of fusion. I also sought to deliver something that is useful beyond any genre labels or etiquettes," he comments.

• Drum grooves and fills inspired by fusion and gospel music
• More than 450 individually played files
• Time signatures 4/4, 6/8 and 12/8, in straight and/or swing feel
• Tempos ranging from 90 to 115 BPM
• Song structure categorization (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, fills, etc.)

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to elevate your songs with elaborate drum acrobatics of the highest standard, combined with hefty portions of groove and soul. The song structure categorization makes it easy to find the right groove or fill for the right part of your arrangement.
