Gospel EZX

Product Description

Gospel EZX is a drum expansion for EZdrummer and Superior Drummer built around the rhythmic heartbeat of gospel music. It was recorded at Paragon Studios in Nashville, engineered and produced by seven-time Grammy Award-winner Danny Duncan and sampled by drummer Calvin Rodgers.

Gospel has always been driven by rhythm, from makeshift kits, foot stomps and handclaps in church to today's productions across R&B, soul, hip-hop and fusion. Gospel EZX captures that span through four fundamentally different sets of tonal characteristics, covering the genre from the 1940s to today: the open-sounding tones of the early 1940s, the dry, muffled and tight sound of the 1960s, and the punchy, distinct and crystal clear sound of today.
