Gong mallet from Meinl Sonic Energy with a 30 mm rubber ball, designed for therapeutic and atmospheric gong playing. The specially processed rubber ball lets you bring out both higher and lower tones from the gong than you'd normally hear.
The mallet is built for sound healing and meditative playing, where the tone often resembles whale song. The smaller the diameter, the higher the tones you can produce. For deeper, lower tones, choose a mallet with a larger diameter. The series is available in sizes from 20 to 50 mm, so you can build a collection of mallets for different tonal ranges and expressions.
