The Gong Resonant Mallet 20mm from Meinl Sonic Energy is a mallet designed specifically for gong playing and sound healing. Its specially processed rubber ball head creates therapeutic, atmospheric gong sounds reminiscent of whale song, revealing tones you wouldn't normally hear from a gong.
The smaller the mallet's diameter, the higher the tones you can draw out of the gong. For deep, low tones, choose a mallet with a larger diameter instead. The series is available in sizes from 20 to 50mm, letting you build a set of mallets for different pitches and moods in your gong playing.
