The Meinl Sonic Energy TMGS-3-G Gong Holder is designed to complement a Meinl Framed Gong stand (TMGS-3), turning it into a double stand for two gongs. With the holder added, you can mount two gongs on the same stand, one in the upper position and one below, instead of needing a second stand.
The holder is built so the gong can swing freely and unobstructed, letting it move naturally and build its full wave of sound without the stand dampening it. It is adjustable to fit different gong sizes, and it holds the gong securely with no risk of it slipping or falling off.
With the TMGS-3-G fitted, you can mount a gong of up to 40" in the upper position and up to 38" in the lower position on the same TMGS-3 stand.
