Product Description
The Goldon 11550 is a set of 8 handchimes in the recognisable Boomwhackers® colours, covering the range c3 to c4. Each tube comes fitted with its own hammer, so simply shaking the tube by the handle makes the hammer strike and produce a round, melodic tone.
Handchimes work great in schools, preschools and music teaching, where the colour coding makes it easy for new players to find the right note straight away, just like with Boomwhackers tubes. Because each tube carries its own hammer, no separate mallet or striking tool is needed. A simple shake of the handle is all it takes.
The sound is round and melodic rather than sharp, which makes the set pleasant to play together in a group, for example when several students each hold a note to build a simple melody or chord progression.
The set is supplied in a nylon bag for storage and transport between lessons or practice sessions.
