Feel and construction

The direct drive gives a direct, consistent transfer of energy from board to beater, without the lag that chain or belt drives can introduce. The round 90 g beater has two playing surfaces. Felt for a warmer, rounder tone and plastic for a sharper, more defined attack. So you can switch depending on what the music calls for.

Adjustment and mounting
