Hand-hammered cast aluminum darbuka, 22cm diameter, 44cm high, brown. Full sound with warm bass and clear highs. Cover and spare head included.
Product Description
A lightweight but full-sounding Egyptian-style goblet drum, cast in aluminum and hand hammered for a fine finish and even tone. A good choice if you want a genuine darbuka with warm bass and clear highs without the weight of a traditional ceramic or metal shell.
- Cast aluminum construction - light to carry and play
- Hand hammered, Egyptian model
- Warm bass with clear, distinct high tones
- 6 lugs for tuning the head
- Spare head included
- Cover included
Sound and feel
Despite the light aluminum shell, this drum delivers a full sound. The bass is warm and round, while the higher tones ring out clear and distinct - a combination typical of this style of Egyptian goblet drum, also known as darbuka.
What's included
The drum comes with 6 lugs for fine-tuning head tension, a cover for storage and transport, and a spare head so you have a replacement ready if the original gets damaged.
