Fusion Grooves MIDI

Product Description

Fusion Grooves MIDI is a MIDI pack from Toontrack featuring drum grooves and fills inspired by fusion music, performed by drummer Luke Oswald. With more than 400 individually played files in 4/4, in both straight and swing feels, it delivers the technicality and subtlety that define the genre.

Luke Oswald draws inspiration from genre forerunners like Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Will Kennedy and Steve Gadd, while also adapting ideas from contemporary players such as Lil' John Roberts and Mark Guiliana, all filtered through his own personal style.

Performed in song structure blocks with increasing complexity in each category, this collection suits both writers looking for solid, backbeat-driven rock-fusion and those after busy, jazz-inspired beats where the drums race at full speed. Expect intricate ghost notes, busy leading-hand work, and the sophisticated 'session drummer' finesse only a great performer can deliver.
