Product Description
Fields of Rock SDX is a sound library for Toontrack's drum platforms featuring seven complete drum kits and an extensive percussion collection, recorded at the iconic Rockfield Studios in Wales by producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, Royal Blood) and drummer Mat Hector (Iggy Pop, Razorlight). It captures classic '70s rock tone alongside modern production techniques.
Rockfield Studios, a Welsh dairy farm turned recording studio, has left a colossal footprint across fifty years of music history, hosting bands such as Queen, Rush, Judas Priest and Hawkwind, and later acts like Oasis, Coldplay and Manic Street Preachers. Fields of Rock SDX was captured in the studio's different rooms to bring out that character, and recorded through 14 channels of hardware tape emulation, recreating the warm, saturated sound of tape.
