Evans EQ4 Frosted Batter - Frosted
Damped bass drum head with built-in muffling ring for a fuller, controlled tone. Easy tuning thanks to Level 360.
Product Description
The Evans EQ4 Frosted Batter is a single-ply, pre-muffled bass drum head that delivers a full, controlled tone right out of the box. A built-in muffling ring removes unwanted overtones for a focused, punchy bass drum sound without adding extra dampening. The head is available in sizes from 18" to 26".
The head is built from a single 10 mil ply with a Frosted coating. The internal muffling ring cuts unwanted frequencies and gives a fuller, more studio-ready bass drum tone without the extra muffling rings or pillows that are often needed otherwise.
Level 360
The EQ4 is built with Evans' Level 360 technology. The head's edge is shaped to sit completely flat against the drum shell from the moment it's mounted, making it significantly easier to tune than many other heads. You get a great sound right away, without the break-in period a new head can otherwise need.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want a bass drum head with built-in dampening and a stable, full tone without experimenting with extra muffling materials.
