Product Description
The Evans Aramid Patch EQPAF1 is a bass drum head patch made from the same tough aramid fabric used in bulletproof vests. It protects the head from beater wear while sharpening the attack of your sound.
Aramid fiber withstands far more punishment than standard plastic or tape patches, making this an easy way to extend the life of a head that would otherwise wear out quickly under hard kick playing. Four slots are stamped into the patch, helping the head keep vibrating freely so the head's natural resonance is preserved rather than choked off.
A solid choice for players who hit hard and are tired of replacing batter or front heads too often, or who want a bit more attack without losing the fullness of the bass drum's tone.
