Evans Hydraulic Blue is a genuine two-ply oil-filled bass drum head that delivers a fat, focused tone with plenty of attack, sitting in a lower register than the EQ heads. It's built for players who want a deep, short punch even when tuning extremely low.
Construction and Sound
The head is made of two 7-mil films with a thin layer of oil between them. This construction gives maximum durability along with a fat, deep and short sound with a distinct 70s character. The Level 360 profile provides the best possible fit, tuning range and tunability.
