Elements EZX
Elements EZX expansion from Toontrack, 30 kits across three libraries. Atmospheric, experimental drum sounds for sound design and beat making.
Product Description
Elements EZX is a sound expansion from Toontrack with 30 kits spread across three libraries, built for experimental sound design and creative beat making. Analog drum machines, vintage synths and organic field recordings collide across three distinct sonic worlds. A great pick if you want to move beyond traditional drum sounds into something more atmospheric and exploratory.
- 30 unique kit presets
- Three conceptually different libraries: Black Hole, Space and Earth
- Blend of analog, electronic and organic sounds
- Remixed, layered and reamped using outboard, effects and elaborate sound design
- Bespoke macro controls in the mixer for every kit
- MIDI grooves tailored for each kit included
Three sonic worlds
The Black Hole and Space libraries offer a fathomless, multi-spatial haze, while the Earth kits are deep, warm and engaging. The sounds are familiar yet peculiar, airy and soothing but at the same time ominously haunting. Source material ranges from ice hitting a frozen lake to birds, dolphins and whales, layered with live percussion and analog drum machines.
Sound design in detail
The expansion was produced, engineered and mixed by sound design artist Alex Shulga (Sound Kalpa). Each sound was individually mixed and run through its own chain of outboard, effects and treatments so every sample keeps its own harmonic space. Each kit also has a bespoke architecture of macro controls in the mixer, letting you shape the overall vibe, sample lengths and additional effect saturation on an instrument level.
MIDI grooves included
A collection of MIDI grooves tailored for each kit is included, so you can start building your next beat right away.
Who It's For
Suited to creatively minded producers looking for a library unlike anything they've used before, regardless of genre or style.
