Product Description
Evans E-Ring is a floating muffling ring that sits loosely on top of the head, giving you control over your drum's overtones. It tames unwanted ringing without choking the sound, and adds a fatter, rounder tone. The pack includes two rings in different widths, made for a 14" snare drum.
Unlike a fixed muffling ring, the E-Ring rests loosely on the head, so it only removes the overtones that bother you without killing the head's natural resonance. The result is a warmer, more focused tone – useful if your snare rings too much or sounds thin.
The ER-SNARE pack includes two E-Rings of different widths so you can find the muffling that suits your drum and your ear:
