The mat weighs 3 kg and measures 6.5mm in total thickness: a 4mm hard-wearing polyamide velour surface on top and a 2.5mm anti-slip rubber base underneath. The rubber backing is road-proof and prevents the mat from creeping during play, no matter how hard you hit. The velour top grips drum spurs, pedals and stands firmly, and is easy to clean with just water and soap. The mat is also UV-resistant and waterproof, making it equally suited for outdoor stages and indoor studios.
