Drum Workshop Design - Cherry Stain

Product Description

A shell pack from Drum Workshop's Design Series, built in maple with a Cherry Stain finish. A complete drum set without a snare, ideal for players who want to build their own kit with exactly the tone and feel they're after.

DW has spent over 30 years refining drums, pedals and hardware, and it shows in the details of this set. The shells are built from 8 plies of selected North American maple with HVLT shell construction, giving a tight, resonant tone with good sustain.

Construction and Hardware

Hardware is chrome throughout. The toms sit in DW's STM Tom Mount, a suspension system that lets the shell resonate freely for more sustain. Tuning is handled with DW True Pitch tension rods, and the drum sizes follow DW's F.A.S.T (Focused Articulate Sound Technology) concept for a focused, articulate attack.

The set ships with heads made by Remo specifically for DW.

Included Drums

• Bass drum 22x18"
• Rack tom 10x8"
• Rack tom 12x9"
• Floor tom 16x14"

Note that a snare drum is not included in this set. You're free to choose whichever snare completes your setup.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a well-built, resonant maple shell pack with DW's renowned hardware and construction, and already have (or want to choose separately) your own snare drum.
