Product Description
The Bop Softy is the diminutive descendant of the popular Big Softy, built for smaller bop-sized bass drums. It delivers the same silky, warm attack as its bigger sibling in a package sized for smaller drums.
Constructed of stacked layers of soft flannel and even softer fleece, the beater head meets the head softly rather than striking it hard. The result is a round, warm bass drum tone without harsh attack – great if you want a full but understated kick sound.
The smaller size is specifically suited to bop bass drums in the 16–20" range, where a full-size beater often feels bulky and heavy relative to the head. The Bop Softy sits proportionally right and delivers a controlled, soft tone even on these smaller drums.
