Product Description
The Toca Street Series djembe is 8" in diameter and 16" (40.5 cm) tall, hand carved from a single piece of environmentally-friendly plantation grown mahogany in a Black Onyx finish. The head is hand selected goatskin, and the kiln dried shell is treated with 20 coats of teak oil to protect and preserve the wood.
Being carved from a single piece of plantation mahogany gives each shell its own natural grain, while the wood choice reflects an environmentally conscious sourcing approach. The 20 coats of teak oil help the shell hold up over time, whether played indoors or out. The hand selected goatskin head is chosen to deliver a clear, warm tone suited to djembe playing.
