Djembe Head TP-FHM12 for Toca Freestyle 2 Rope Djembe - Natural goatskin
Djembe head in natural goatskin, 12", for Toca Freestyle (mechanical tuning). Original replacement head, exact fit.
Product Description
Original replacement head for Toca's mechanically tuned Freestyle djembe, 12" in untanned, natural goatskin. It restores proper tone and fit once the original head has worn out.
This is a genuine Toca original head for Freestyle 2 Rope Djembes with mechanical tuning (synthetic head models). The goatskin is untanned and low-odour, giving a natural, warm tone while being noticeably more pleasant to work with up close in the rehearsal room or studio compared to tanned skin.
Getting the right head for your drum
Toca djembes carry a sticker on the inside of the shell listing the correct replacement head number. Always check size, material and tuning system before ordering, since several sizes and head types exist within the same series.
Size is easiest to confirm by measuring the head's diameter. Average measurements (crown diameter/head overall diameter) across Toca's Freestyle range:
| 9" | 243 mm / 267 mm |
| 10" | 254 mm / 284 mm |
| 12" | 290 mm / 317 mm |
| 14" | 354 mm / 384 mm |
