Toca Freestyle Rope Tuned Fiesta 10" - Woodstock Purple

Product Description

The Toca Freestyle Rope Tuned Fiesta is a rope-tuned 10" djembe finished in the vibrant Woodstock Purple. Its low stretch Alpine rope with braided cores delivers a rich bass tone while the rim answers with sharp, piercing tones.

Tuning is handled entirely through the rope system that wraps the shell, a traditional and durable approach that keeps the drum in stable tune even during heavy playing. The low stretch Alpine rope with braided cores is, according to the maker, especially effective at producing rich bass tone in the 10" and 12" sizes.

Sound Character

The combination of bass and rim gives this djembe real dynamic range: deep, full tone in the center of the head and sharp, piercing tones near the rim. The rope tuning helps the drum hold its tuning session after session, without constant readjustment.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a rope-tuned djembe with traditional feel and stable tuning, finished in a bold, distinctive color.
