Toca Freestyle II Rope Tuned Thinker 12"
Toca Freestyle II djembe, 12", rope tuned with synthetic head. Crisp slaps, deep bass, lightweight and durable.
Product Description
The Freestyle II is a rope-tuned djembe from Toca with a synthetic head in 12" diameter, built to handle all weather conditions and hold its pitch better than a natural skin head. It delivers higher, crisp slaps and deeper bass tones, while staying lightweight and extremely durable.
The all-weather synthetic head eliminates the usual problems of natural skin heads: it won't stretch, dry out or lose pitch, no matter the humidity or temperature. That makes this djembe reliable whether it's used indoors, outdoors or in changing conditions.
The sound character offers strong contrast: slaps come out higher and crisper, while bass tones go deeper and fuller, giving good dynamic range between the different playing techniques on a djembe.
Construction
The drum is lightweight yet extremely durable thanks to its construction, and the bottom features a protective non-slip rubber base that keeps the drum steady whether played seated or standing. The construction is patented.
