Product Description
The Freestyle II Rope Tuned is a rope-tuned djembe from Toca with a synthetic head in the African Sunset finish. The all-weather head resists stretching, drying out and losing pitch, giving the drum higher, crisp slaps together with deeper bass tones.
The synthetic head keeps the drum far less sensitive to humidity and temperature changes than a traditional skin-headed djembe, so tuning stays stable wherever you play. The shell is lightweight yet extremely durable, and the base has a protective non-slip rubber bottom that keeps the drum steady while you play. The design is patented.
