Toca Freestyle II Mechanically Tuned 10" - Spirit

Product Description

The Freestyle II Mechanically Tuned is a djembe from Toca with a synthetic head and mechanical tuning, built to handle any weather without losing its pitch. With a 10-inch diameter and a lightweight yet extremely durable build, it's a great choice for outdoor gigs, rehearsals or drum circles where humidity and temperature swings would otherwise be a problem.

The all-weather synthetic head is the key advantage over natural skin: it eliminates stretching, drying and pitch loss regardless of conditions. It also delivers a clear tonal improvement, with higher, crisper slap tones and deeper bass tones.

Construction

The shell is lightweight yet extremely durable, making it easy to carry along to gigs, jam sessions or outdoor practice. A protective non-slip rubber bottom keeps it stable while you play and protects the floor beneath it. The construction is patented.

Who It's For

Great for percussionists who want a djembe that holds its tuning no matter where or when it's played, without the upkeep required by natural skin heads.
