The shell is fitted with die-cast hoops and brass hardware, providing even tension and stability when tuning. The throw-off is Dixon's own Flip-Drop design – a smooth mechanism that makes it effortless to switch between snares-on and snares-off. Evans G1 Coated batter head and Evans SS Clear resonant head are factory-fitted, and the drum ships with a Dixon Drummer's Pouch included.
