The Australian Rose Gum shell delivers a warm, woody tone with acoustical properties that go beyond what traditional maple and birch shells can offer, all wrapped in a striking gloss see-through green finish.

A wood unlike any other

Rose gum is harder than most exotic woods, giving the shell a more pronounced woody tone and increased resonance. The shell is built from 9-ply Australian Rose Gum with a 45° bearing edge, and it responds instantly, giving the player complete control across any genre or playing style.

The legacy of Chris Brady in every detail

Iconic drum builder Chris Brady partnered with Dixon to produce this Australian Rose Gum snare drum. The Artisan Series combines the finest materials with Dixon's craftsmanship and innovation. Each drum is tested daily to meet factory quality standards, and Dixon's studio staff regularly record and analyse the sound of each model to ensure design integrity. Every drum is also field-tested by professional drummers and refined according to their feedback before reaching the market.

Thoughtful hardware from top to bottom

The shell is fitted with die-cast hoops and brass hardware, providing even tension and stability when tuning. The throw-off is Dixon's own Flip-Drop design, a smooth mechanism that makes it effortless to switch between snares-on and snares-off. Evans G1 Coated batter head and Evans SS Clear resonant head are factory-fitted. The drum ships with a Dixon Drummer's Pouch included and is made in Taiwan.
