Product Description
The Dixon Cornerstone is a 14×6.5" snare drum built from a North American maple/poplar shell, finished in Satin Dark Teal. The maple/poplar combination gives a warm, focused tone with good response, and the drum comes ready to play with chrome hardware and maple hoops.
The batter side is fitted with an Evans Uno Coated head for a full, controlled attack, while the resonant side uses a standard clear head that keeps the tone open with solid sustain. The hoops are satin natural North American maple, matching the warm look of the shell finish.
The snare uses a slide-lever style throw-off, giving quick and comfortable handling when engaging or releasing the snare wires between songs. The snare butt end is a standard design.
A drummer's pouch is included free with purchase, handy for transporting or storing the drum safely between gigs and rehearsals.
