Dixon Classic Division Black Maple 14x6.5" - Black Lacquer with Satin Black Wrap

Product Description

The Dixon Classic Division Black Maple is a snare drum with a maple shell (Maple Formula Shell) in a 14x6.5" size, finished in black lacquer with a Satin Black wrap. With an Evans batter head, steel hoops and a fast slide-lever throw-off, it delivers a tight, powerful attack whether you're playing at home, in the rehearsal room or on stage.

The maple shell gives a warm, full fundamental tone, while the black lacquer finish with Satin Black wrap gives the drum a clean, premium look. The batter head is an Evans USA Hydraulic Black Coated, a double-ply head that controls overtones and delivers a focused, punchy sound right out of the box. The resonant side head is a standard type that completes the snare side.

The hoops are steel, a classic and durable choice that keeps the drum holding its tuning over time. The throw-off is a slide-lever style, making it quick and easy to engage and disengage the snare wires between songs, and the snare butt end on the opposite side is a standard model. All hardware is finished in black for a consistent look.

A free storage pouch (Drummer's Pouch) is included with the drum.
