Cympad Undertones is a three-piece dampening system that improves the sound of bass drums and floor toms while offering an extra layer of protection from unwanted drum and pedal movement. The set includes specially-designed discs for floor tom legs and bass drum spurs, as well as a pad for acoustic and electronic bass drum and hi-hat pedals.

How It Works

By isolating the drum and pedal from direct contact with the floor, Undertones lets the bass drum and rack tom ring out with noticeably more sustain and low end. The combination of spur and pedal pads is especially effective on bass drums equipped with mounted tom holders, where the floor tom's resonance is otherwise dampened by floor contact.

Construction

The pads are made from cellular foam with a proprietary non-skid material on the underside, which anchors the setup on a variety of surfaces and reduces the need for a drum rug.
