The Cympad Optimizer Starter Pack is a set of felt washers that replace standard cymbal felts and isolate your cymbals from stands and hardware. The result is a freer, more natural sound with less metal-to-metal contact throughout your setup.
The washers sit between the cymbal and the stand, as well as in the hi-hat clutch and seat, providing a more even and stable mounting than traditional felt. Many players notice increased sustain and a more open tone, since the cymbals can vibrate freely instead of being choked by hard metal contact.
The starter pack is sized to cover a standard cymbal setup plus hi-hat, making it a good way to try the Cympad system before expanding it to more stands.
