Stagg Cymbal Gel Dampener 3-Pack

Product Description

Stagg Cymbal Gel Control is a set of reusable gel dampeners that tame unwanted overtones or mute the sound completely for silent practice. They work on any type of cymbal. Bells, splashes, crashes and rides. And fit cymbals from 5" to 20". The pack contains 3 pieces.

• Can be split into smaller pieces to control just the overtones you want to tame
• A full piece can be used as a striking surface for completely silent practice
• Works on all cymbal types: bells, splash, crash and ride
• Reusable and easy to clean with soap and water

How to use it

To tame a single annoying overtone, a small piece of gel placed on the right spot usually does the job. For fully silent practice, place a whole dampener directly on the playing surface instead. The cymbal loses most of its volume while the feel of the stroke stays intact.

Who It's For

Great for drummers practicing in an apartment or a shared rehearsal space with thin walls, or anyone who wants to fine-tune a cymbal's tone without replacing it.
