Headhunters Crossover II Poly
Product Description
The Crossover II Poly is a hybrid stick that combines a bundled rod with a regular drumstick. Built on a lightweight Maple stock, it gives you real crash and ride hits along with clear rim shots – while the rods let you play noticeably quieter whenever you need to.
- Polypropylene rods make the stick extremely durable
- 'Grip Control' – a comfortable rubber grip that keeps the stick secure in your hand
- Low weight thanks to the Maple stock gives an easy playing feel
- Movable rubber ring lets you fine-tune the sound yourself
Sound and feel
Because the stick is fundamentally a real Maple drumstick, it plays much like a standard stick – with proper power behind crash and ride hits and clear rim shots. At the same time, the polypropylene rods let you drop the volume significantly when the situation calls for it, without switching sticks.
Adjustable sound
The movable rubber ring on the rods lets you control how much of the rod sound comes through, so you can dial the stick in to match your playing style and preferred sound.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want to switch between full-volume playing and quieter passages without changing sticks mid-song – for example during practice, acoustic sets, or whenever volume needs to be kept down.
