Surdo 20x50cm
Contemporanea Surdo 20" x 50 cm in aluminum. Big, distinct sound in a lighter, easier-to-carry build. Tuning key included.
Product Description
The Contemporanea Surdo 20" x 50 cm is a samba surdo built in aluminum with a plastic head, shallower than standard-depth surdos. That makes it lighter and easier to carry while marching, without giving up the big, distinct sound that anchors a whole samba ensemble.
The aluminum shell keeps weight down while still delivering a big, distinct sound that carries well outdoors and within a group. Because it's shallower than a standard-depth surdo, it's noticeably lighter on the shoulder strap during long parades and rehearsals.
What's Included
A tuning key is included, so you can adjust head tension and get the drum tuned right out of the box.
Who It's For
A good fit for samba, batucada, and other Brazilian percussion players who want a surdo that's easier on the shoulder during long sets and parades.
