Surdo 14"x40 cm
Aluminium surdo 14″ x 40 cm with plastic head. Shallower than standard for lighter, easier marching.
Product Description
The Contemporanea Surdo 14″ is an aluminium samba bass drum with a plastic head, built slightly shallower than standard models. That makes it lighter and easier to carry while marching, without losing the big, distinct sound a surdo needs to deliver.
The aluminium shell is durable and lightweight, which really shows when the drum needs to be carried for an extended session. The plastic head produces a big, distinct sound that projects well outdoors and within a group. Exactly the low end a samba band relies on.
Shallower build
Unlike deeper standard surdos, this model is built slightly shallower. That reduces the weight and makes it more comfortable to march with over longer periods, while still delivering a big, distinct sound.
Who It's For
A good choice if you play samba on the move. In the street, in a parade, or in a larger ensemble. And want a surdo that's easy to carry without compromising on sound.
A drum key is included.
