Product Description
The Toca 3912-1/2D is a 12 1/2" tumba from the Conga Traditional Series, built in Asian oak with a classic Afro-Cuban design for extra volume and resonance. The shell, hoops, and brushed nickel hardware combine a sturdy feel with a warm, traditional look in dark walnut.
The shell is built from 2-ply Asian oak, giving the tumba the solid foundation needed for a deep, resonant tone. The hoops are traditional style, and the hardware features 8 mm tuning lugs along with side plates fitted with rubber gaskets for secure, rattle-free tuning. The hardware is finished in brushed nickel, which pairs nicely with the dark walnut shell colour.
Sound and Feel
