Meinl Percussion Artist Series LC1134NT 11 3/4"x30" - Natural (NT), matte
Hand-built Luis Conte Artist Series conga, 11 3/4" Quinto in Rubberwood with natural finish and True Skin Buffalo head.
Product Description
The Meinl Conga L.Conte (LC1134NT) is a Quinto conga from the Artist Series, developed together with percussionist Luis Conte. It combines the charm and sound of traditional Cuban congas with the stability of modern hardware. A well-built conga for players who want authentic character with dependable construction.
The shell is built from two layers of Rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.) and finished in a matte natural (NT) finish that shows the wood's own grain. The hardware is Black Powder finished with rubber gaskets that keep the fittings stable and quiet over time.
Construction
The conga hoops are 5 mm Traditional TTR and the tension rods are 8 mm, giving a robust build that holds its tuning well. The head is a True Skin Buffalo head (model TS-B-53), delivering the warm, traditional tone associated with hand-built Cuban congas.
Included in delivery
Comes with a Conga Saver, tuning key and Tune Up Oil for head maintenance.
Expand the series
This Quinto conga can be combined with the LC11NT and LC1212NT for a complete set, and paired with the Meinl Conga Bag MCOB-1134 for transport and storage.
Who It's For
A conga for percussionists who want a hand-built instrument feel with modern stability. Equally at home in the studio or on stage.
