Product Description
The TRE630 is a large, single-row concert chime featuring 34 polished, tempered T6 bars for a brilliant sound. It includes variable damping so you can control how long the tones sustain, and it ships complete with a padded carrying bag (TRE51).
The wood body is built from Tennessee White Ash, and each instrument is handmade in Nashville, Tennessee. The bars themselves are a solid aluminium/titanium alloy with a diameter of approximately 3/8 inch (about 9.5 mm), giving the instrument its characteristic singing tone.
The bars are hand-bound with a braided, durable CordLoc™ cord, a binding system built to keep the suspension stable through frequent use in orchestral and ensemble settings.
